I love the look of stilettos more than anything, but my sore feet and back are really mad at me for romping around flat-free during all of Fashion Month. What can I say? I’m a platform girl through and through. Until I spotted these beauties, though, I had thought the platforms this season felt tired. Stella has saved spring for all of us! There’s nothing like a canvas wedge to welcome in flirty skirt weather and this trendy pointed-toe (named the Nathalie) is just the shoe to do it. Platforms are best as high as the sky to keep them from looking Plain Jane and dumpy, so I prefer the 140mm but there’s also a lower version at 100mm for Snobs afraid of heights. I got the wedges in white, which may sound like me asking for trouble but I’ll tell you the secret – spray all of your white canvas and other easily marred shoes with Scotchguard, so if/when they get dirty, you can just re-dye them white or another color. Or I guess you could just go for the orange! Definitely a citrusy spring hue that will pair well with florals and other fresh as a daisy designs. Available at Stella McCartney for $760.
