What’s the equation for Prada’ Spring/Summer ’13 shoe collection? I’m no math wiz, but I’ve solved this problem: half-alien, a quarter-Japanese, and a whole lot of crazy. When it comes to guts and giggles, Miuccia never disappoints! To say these double-layered, flower-covered, ultra-platformed sandals, complete with their very own metallic socks, are beyond this world is an understatement. They came from another universe. The same goes for the rest – chunky heels and bows, geometric cutouts of wood, others so flat they look little more than fancy space socks, and the rest sliced half-way to reveal the toe (at least that’s a little more flattering? Maybe…?). Shoes like these are fit for skipping around Planet Prada, and perhaps landing on Planet Earth and causing a stir, before fluttering back off in your spaceship. The shoes that will most likely be loved by style-bloggers come Spring? I predict Prada!
