My obsession with Lanvin heels does not seem to be slowing down. I’ll gladly take out a loan to buy the newest pair but this one is less than a grand (How sad is it that we’ve been conditioned to think a thousand dollars is acceptable to pay for a pair of shoes?), thanks to the snake embossed leather. I’ll take embossed especially for strappy sandals that can’t benefit from full view of the skin. The ubiquitous Lanvin bow here does not seem as frou frou and in the way as it is on the bags. Add a foot hugging design of the web of straps and a moderate heel, you’ve got a shoe that is actually sensible for day long wear. Sign me up, I am yours for always. At Net-a-Porter for $995.
