Oscar de la Renta Dakota Brushed-Leather Wedge Sandals: Acid Trip
By Shoe Snob Tina
April 3, 2012

Oscar de la Renta blasted Led Zeppelin at his Spring show. So, along with a fleet of It-models like Daphne Groeneveld sporting crimped and teased hair, it was no shock to see an edgier side of the Park Avenue princess! These shoes have it all: rebellious glamour and Victorian elegance.

I absolutely love neon-yellow shoes on tanned feet! My feet are the most tanned part of my body, always. And I get progressively pale up to my face. So let’s keep the focus down below! Vintage-style booties with cutouts all the way through and prim buttons are so right now. In this powerful shade of chartreuse, they are modern and fresh. Oscar’s still got it – and I’ve got to have these awesome acid wedges. On Net-a-Porter for $1,050.

Pair with: These leave me yearning to recreate a runway look. In my own way, of course. The trumpet-sleeve lace blouse by Oscar has a similar mix of old-world refinement and new-world rebellion. At Bergdorf Goodman for $1,590.
