Say what you may about Robert Clergerie. He makes the world’s most comfortable shoes and yes, most have that old lady quality that very comfortable shoes have. But these, you have to admit, are actually cute! From afar, they are basic espadrille heels, but once you try them on your entire outlook on life will change. The leather is like buttered baby skin; so soft you feel like you’re melting into them. The sole has a shock-absorbing cushion to comfort your heel and the bottom is rubber for sure footing. The pitch – thanks to the platform – is super mild but still enough to give a slender foot and plenty of height at nearly 5 inches.

The other color ways – black or yellow – are whatever, but the turquoise is fantastic for summer. It’s a Caribbean turquoise bright enough to be noticed but muted enough that it won’t fight other vibrant colors. I’m wearing mine to contrast summer dresses or compliment cropped jeans and whatever else I’m wearing. And nothing makes ivory short shorts look as hot as this cool hue does!
