Maiyet is one of my favorite brands and by far the biggest success story for a new brand. Started as an entrepreneurial effort to support developing economies, Maiyet empowers local artisans from countries around the world, creating self-sufficient economies for very talented but otherwise struggling communities. The result: beautifully crafted products like these flower heels.

A bit of organic detailing takes an elegant sandal and gives it life. A little flourish is always welcome. All our feet – at least mine – can use a little embellishing and this beautiful leather cut does it with purpose. The graceful flower shape and soft browns add to the grace. I love the contrast stitching on the tone on tone color block. The neutral heel can compliment any summer look. After all, natural sex appeal is always best.
