Don’t pack away your platforms just yet ladies. For spring, platform shoes climb to soaring new heights. The stiletto tried hard to win back fans but let’s face it, its days are numbered. We want height but we also want comfort, which is exactly what platforms deliver. As comfortable as platforms are, they pose serious risks for falls (as I witnessed Kelly do in her Marni platforms on the cobblestone streets of Florence last week when she hurt her ankle) so proceed with caution.
