Sometimes the best and boldest way to make a statement is to not to try to make one at all. Such is the pattern that has taken shape with Pre-Fall 2012 footwear. Nude is the new color! When it’s done right, there is absolutely no shoe chicer, no pump more sophisticated, no ballet flat more elegant, and no boot more surprising than one in a discreet and flattering shade of nude.
Just look to the latest collections by Thakoon (sweet ballerinas compliment nubby pastels and layers of textured neutrals), Nina Ricci (ladylike peekaboo pumps), Céline (razor-sharp pumps pose a welcome contrast to the slouchy leather pants and loose, bunched-up trousers), and Givenchy (flesh-tones make for an atypical and edgy approach to platform combat boots).
This eclectic array just goes to show a nude shoe is anything you want it to be and more. Get a jumpstart on Pre-Fall by pairing something naked with something neon this spring!

The givenchy photo is not pre fall 2012 but pre fall 2011.. misleading information… givenchy had no nude for pre fall 12.. maybe important to tell a story but with the correct info…
instead of deleting my past comment, why don’t you put a correct picture up, it’s really not very professional to ignore a true observation and highlight to your readers your small but easily correctable mistake..
or maybe change the title to pre-fall 2011 / pre-fall 2012? either way.. just to correct any misleading or incorrect info seems appropriate instead of just deleting my comment
again, the picture of the givenchy look is from pre fall 2011 not 2012… they did not show nude shoes this season. there are plenty others to pick from..
