Somewhat hoof-like, they remind me of something out of Greek mythology, though a creature more along the lines of the animalistic centaur than beautiful Aphrodite. Only the most trend-hungry and wannabe fashion-forward girl would crave to have these on her feet (and up her calves), unless she’s a daring woman who is genuinely avant-garde and determined to be different. But, honestly, these slouchy, seamed sandal-boots just look unflattering and uncomfortable – with too much coverage for warm weather and a thong that doesn’t belong in fall.
