Bottega Veneta Woven Toe Slipper

I’m in Asia now and if you’ve ever been to an Asian house, you will know that it’s customary to remove your shoes before entering. The host will offer you a pair of slippers, and I don’t want to sound like a bad guest or anything but I’ll be brutally honest here, these slippers leave much to be desired. Why can’t someone offer these Bottega Veneta Woven Toe Slippers? At least, that’s what comes to mind when I see these. These are clearly house slippers (I do hope people don’t start wearing these out like that mesh Chinese house slippers trend a while back) and if you buy one in every size you will be the toast of the town, of Taipei that is. Or maybe people in Hong Kong will appreciate it more. Available at Barneys, in a variety of colors for $420.

I think Tina wrote about the same slippers back in August of last year.
