I’m a HUGE fan of Louis Vuitton’s recent introduction of men’s ankle boots made of unique combinations of textures. I have a pair from this fall that feature a mix of leather and Damier Geant but this new pair has that beat. And then some. Suede? Alligator? Leather? YES PLEASE! I love how versatile these boots are. Wear them with a suit or slacks and all you see is the wingtip portion; but with slim jeans or cropped pants, chango presto! You have a hip new look! Not only will you get a ton of use out of these, but they’ll last you forever–literally. Most Vuitton shoes seem much too delicate for me, but these get high marks. They’re refined but have the right amount of ruggedness infused. Yes, they aren’t cheap, so for those wanting a similar look, do what I did and go with the more sensible pair.
