My parents just came back from a trip to Munich and per my request brought back a stack of German mags for me (gotta keep up my German reading and writing skills!). Among the mags were a few weeklies, all of which had images of either Gwyneth Paltrow or Cameron Diaz wearing a pair of Mou boots. It’s impossible to look at these and not think of Ugg boots. I also highly doubt that anyone who dislikes Uggs will feel any different about these, but I’m the first to admit that I haven’t gotten through a winter without 2 or 3 pairs of Uggs since 2002 and I don’t plan on retiring Uggs anytime soon. No, they’re not the most stylish, but they’re practical and sometimes practical wins out!

I just ordered the Mou Eskimo suede boots

pictured above and I’m curious to try them out when it gets cold and see how they compare to Uggs. At $345 they’re more pricey, than the classic tall Ugg style I favor, but after all these years, it’s time to mix things up!
