This season William Tempest teamed with Deborah Lyons of Mechante of London for the shoes featured in his Spring 2011 collection. Tempest and Mechante’s 5-inch heels are called ‘Aphrodite’ and will come in an array of colors including coral, nude, raspberry, lemon, and grey, and select colorways of nude, nude/coral highlight, lemon, coral, coral/nude highlight, grey, grey/lemon highlight, grey/coral highlight, and raspberry for Spring 2011. The leathers cross-pollinate textures of non-shiny washed lamb were designed to tie into Tempest’s collection. They’ve already been worn by Louise Roe and Peaches Geldof. Deborah is amazing when it comes to working with exotics, so it’s little surprise that the color/skin combo pictured above is my favorite.
