Be warned: Alejandro Ingelmo shoes are not for the faint of heart. Simply put, these are shoes that will rock a woman’s (or man’s) world. Inspired by Brutalist architecture (think raw concrete and striking repetitive angular geometries), Ingelmo showed a stunningly cold and, dare I say, harsh shoe collection that will have women swooning. The Spider sandal, with its ankle tie and in shiny metallic gold leather, among the colors, is one hot shoe. It has a definite gladiator aspect to it and the bondage aspect of the front will have all the men standing upright. The 140mm Sophia, a more inconspicuous woven pump, is a fabulous day shoe. Can you guess which one is Tall Thriller? That’s right: the criss-crossed white leather sandal that wraps all the way up the ankle. And check out those slingbacks! On a new pin heel, they give sexy secretary new meaning! I think girls will also flock to the buckled Open-Toe Cece 90mm wedge sandal; it’s a gorgeous reinterpretation of the Cece boot for the past season.

As for the men, well what’s not to love? The Tron metallic sneaker is my favorite, followed by the Draper brogues (for “Mad Men” Don, perhaps?) and less flash Wooster sneaker.

Available for order at Alejandro Ingelmo, 51 Wooster St., NYC, 646 649 5126
