Made in Italy and designed by Italian stylist Alberto Guardiani, the Alberto Guardiani Fall 2010 line consists of five capsule collections. The brand makes shoes for men and kids as well and they control the process from start-to-finish – including the finishing atélier where everything is hand-made. Clearly the brand takes the artisan quality of their shoes – even the sportier styles – very seriously.

For Fall 2010 the stand-out shoe is most definitely the lipstick heel pictured above (Katy Perry is a fan…surprise, surprise!). I have a KJL necklace with a lipstick pendant on it that looks just like the heel of this shoe and I always get complements on it when I wear it out. I have no doubt that these shoes would be equally as conversation starting! Sure, they’re a little bit ridiculous, but they’re so fun and unique that I could totally see myself wearing them.
