Alexander McQueen boots ($1,194) be peep-toes! I love that this shoe looks like a leather jacket. It has this great feminine rock-n-roll edge that even someone like myself who can never pull of the rocker look, could get away with. They actually remind me of those metallic bootie Loubies from a few seasons ago that SJP was photographed wearing all over town. Unfortunately, while this would be a perfect F/W boot, with the peep-toe I can’t see myself wearing them when it gets cool and they’re a bit too hard edged for S/S, not to mention bulky and heavy for this hot and humid weather.
Would you wear these boots in the warm summer months?
Hi Sharon, I used to feel this way about peep toe boots, but now I love them. I just bought a peep toe Mcqueen boot very similiar to this one. Most of your foot is covered so in fall and winter this would be ok. I figured I don’t wear gloves all of the time and my fingers are fine, so a little bit of the foot showing is ok. You can always wear tights when it is freezing and you still would look stylish.
